The brainchild behind Posh Parties, Heather Lowenthal offers some outside-of-the-box gift ideas for the engagement party.

“I love the idea of giving a gift that both the bride- and groom-to-be will enjoy and be able to do together,” Lowenthal says. For example, consider gifting cooking classes, bringing a fun cookbook or arranging for a private chef to come to their home to cook for a night. “Another idea is a gift card to a spa for a couple’s massage—something they will appreciate while in the midst of wedding planning,” she adds.
