Take Me Out to Clematis by Night

City of West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio stands beside the World Series Trophy at the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches’ State of the City address.

Spring is in the air and the Houston Astros are making their way back to West Palm Beach. To mark the return of the 2017 World Series champs to their seasonal training home, the City of West Palm Beach will host a special baseball-themed Clematis by Night event. On February 22 Clematis Street will hit it out of the park with special appearances from Astros representatives, a chance to see the actual World Series Trophy, and opportunities to capture selfies alongside the Astro’s mascot as well as a large-scale replica of the trophy.

Attendees are encouraged to show their support for the Astros by donning their favorite team jersey or dressing in the Astros’ colors: navy and orange. In addition to having a chance to win free tickets to an Astros Spring Training game, the first 500 attendees will receive complimentary swag items, cracker jacks, and hotdogs. The event will commence at 6 p.m. with opening remarks from members of the World Championship club and West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio.
