Earth Day 2018

On Earth Day Eve—i.e. April 21—Daggerwing Nature Center at Boca Raton’s Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park will host an Earth Day Celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests at this free gathering can take part in animal encounters and releases as well as interactive demonstrations. Then, on April 22, ring in Earth Day at Palm Beach Zoo’s Party for the Planet. Beginning at 11 a.m., visitors will be treated to family-friendly activities that highlight ecological wonders and fascinating wildlife. Environmental enthusiasts should also swing by Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens for a free community forum that will bring together art, science, and the natural world. Several county nonprofits will present individual learning stations to illustrate the steps they’re taking to raise awareness about preservation.
