Daphne has worked as a journalist in the U.S., U.K. and Greek markets since 1990, specializing in travel, food and the luxury lifestyle. During her career, she has traveled the globe and experienced world culture both on and off the beaten track. Some of her favorite assignments include gorilla tracking in Uganda, crossing the Sahara Desert on camelback, documenting the disappearing arts of Thailand, and traveling through Europe with the Russian National Orchestra.
Daphne also is the author of Storm Gourmet: A Guide to Creating Extraordinary Meals Without Electricity, a popular hurricane readiness guide and cookbook currently in its fourth printing. Her first novel, The Tenth Saint, will be published next year by Medallion Press.
