Jupiter Beach Resort Partners With Local Celebrity for Night of Fundraising
News anchor Suzanne Boyd will join the resort to raise money for Take Stock in Children
JUPITER BEACH, FL – Sinclairs Ocean Grill, Jupiter Beach Resort’s newly renovated award-winning restaurant, is partnering with celebrity news anchor, Suzanne Boyd, to raise money for the non-profit organization, Take Stock in Children of Palm Beach County.
On the evening of November 2nd, 2012, from 6 – 9 pm, a portion of all proceeds from Sinclairs will go to Take Stock in Children. Suzanne will be on hand as the “celebrity chef,” helping to prepare the restaurant’s signature dishes, as well as greeting and mingling with guests.
Suzanne Boyd is the morning anchor for WPEC-TV, West Palm Beach’s local CBS news and weather station. A three-time Associated Press award winner and Florida native, Suzanne remains committed to her community and is looking forward to the opportunity to help Take Stock in Children.
Take Stock in Children, founded in 1996, addresses the critical problem of dropout rates by helping low-income, at-risk children stay out of trouble, graduate from high school, attend college, and become productive citizens of the Palm Beach County community. Since its inception, Take Stock in Children has graduated over 1,000 students.
"I recently joined the board of Take Stock in Children for Palm Beach County and really believe in what this organization does for children,” said Suzanne. “Please come join us and support sending low-income students to college."
