An array of epicurean talent will arrive in Palm Beach County for the 2012 Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival, which will be held December 7-11. A talented mix of award-winning chefs, culinary personalities, authors, winemakers and mixologists are teaming up to create a unique culinary event right here in Palm Beach County.
The festival will include an expanded lineup of nearly a dozen events with both day and evening programming, including a star chef golf tournament on Friday, December 7 and trade-only panel discussion on Saturday, December 8. The days will be filled with food legends such as the Le Cirque family, Daniel Boulud and David Burke, Food Network stars like Marc Summers, Jeff Mauro, Marc Murphy and Robert Irvine, and other nationally recognized talent such as Chris Hastings, Stephanie Izard and many, many more.
This year Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival is debuting a new charity component called Chefs Dish Back. The program is designed to support the participating chefs’ charities of choice. The Festival will distribute one hundred percent of the net proceeds evenly on their behalf to the individual charities. Benefiting charities include: Feeding South Florida, Share Our Strength, Bocuse d’Or USA Foundation, Feeding Children Everywhere, Sari Asher Center, Table to Table, Edible Schoolyard Project, Common Threads, Boys and Girls Club of Palm Beach, Best Buddies Florida, World Vision International, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, Opportunity Knocks, Chefs Feed the Need and more.
