The Norton Musuem of Art keeps the doors open late this Thursday for Art After Dark, bringing some yuletide cheer to the weekly celebration.

• 5-6 p.m. Music / Barbara Gomulka playing Christmas music on the piano
• 5:30 p.m. Tour / Beth Lipman, sponsored by pbpulse.com
• 6-7:45 p.m. Film / A screening of The Polar Express (2004) in the Theater. A motion capture computer-animated fantasy film based on the children's book of the same title by Chris Van Allsburg.
• 6:15-7:15 p.m. Music / Barbara Gomulka playing Christmas music on the piano
• 6-7:30 p.m. Activity / D.I.Y. Make your own gift wrap-holiday designs.
• 6-8 p.m. Activity / Sketchbook Thursday
• Draw in the Museum galleries with guidance by art teacher and Program and Volunteer Coordinator, Malissa Reese.
• 6:30 p.m. Tour / Monet and His Contemporaries
• 7:30-8:30 p.m. Music / Barbara Gomulka playing Christmas music on the piano

There will be a bar in the Atrium serving wine, beer, water, and snacks.

Café 1451 will be serving a three course prix-fixe dinner and the Happy Hour menu (two-for-one drinks with food purchase).

Art After Dark

   What began as a monthly experiment in the summer of 2009, has become a weekly celebration of diverse cultures, performing and visual arts, great food, and socializing at the Museum. Art After Dark draws hundreds of people to the Museum for a variety of activities, tours, and culinary treats each Thursday night.
