The 23rd season of The Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival (PBJFF) kicks off January 17, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. This season marks the first time the Festival has selected a special honoree. Rick Stone, leading Jewish community philanthropist and Palm Beach resident, will be the first distinguished with this honor.
The evening also includes special guest, Olympic Gold Medalist, Aly Raisman, who made a powerful global statement when she dedicated her championship-wining floor routine set to the music of Hava Nagila for the slain Israeli athletes in the 1972 Munich Olympics. The opening night film will be the Florida premier of Hava Nagila; The Movie, an audience favorite at the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival.
