Clean Cuisine’s local bestselling authors, Andy Larson, M.D. and his wife, Ivy Larson, announce the launch of their fourth book, Clean Cuisine: An 8-Week Anti-Inflammatory Nutrition Program that Will Change the Way You Age, Look & Feel (Penguin-Berkley, Feb 2013.) The couple will host a Clean Cuisine Thursday by Clematis charity book launch on March 7 at 6 p.m. at Muses and Visionaries with proceeds benefiting the Community Call to Action on Obesity and the National MS Society.
Dr. Larson is a bariatric (weight loss) surgeon and the President of the Palm Beach County Medical Society, an organization that heavily supports the Community Call to Action on Obesity and his wife has multiple sclerosis, a disease she has kept in remission for almost 15 years by following the anti-inflammatory nutrition program outlined in the Clean Cuisine book.
For a $40 donation, event participants will be able to taste more than a dozen Clean Cuisine recipes from the new book, sip wine, enter to win a raffle and prizes and purchase the entire Clean Cuisine product line (nutritional supplements, Clean Cuisine cookbook, workout DVD and nutritional coaching packages) at a 25% discount.
The special event showcases the taste and health benefits of an anti-inflammatory Clean Cuisine diet based on unrefined, natural whole foods. Based on scientific research on appetite and the health and disease benefits of various natural whole foods, the Clean Cuisine anti-inflammatory nutrition program is intended to protect against degenerative disease, promote weight loss, healthier cells, and slow the aging process. Dr. Larson and Ivy will be available to sign books and answer questions.
