Calling all superheroes… Grab your cape and fly over to the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium on Friday, July 26. Dress up as your favorite superhero and learn the science behind their magical powers. Prepare for a heroic adventure as the evening includes demonstrations, crafts, movies and more. Activities end at 9 p.m. with the observatory open from sunset-10 p.m. (weather permitting).
On the last Friday of every month, the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium hosts a themed ‘Science Nights’ (formerly known as ‘Nights at the Museum’)-- a family friendly opportunity to enjoy extended hours of the Science Center’s typical offerings as well as a chance to view the night sky through the Science Center’s observatory. Once monthly, weather permitting, the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium opens its observatory dome, which rotates to allow for the best views. Guests will be treated to craters, comets and galaxies visible by the telescope.
Monthly ‘Science Nights’ events run from 6pm – 10pm and every month there is a different theme. Activities often include arts and crafts, animal dissections and dry ice experiments.
