Noted inspirational speaker and West Palm Beach attorney, Eddie Stephens, of Ward, Damon, Posner, Pheterson & Bleau, PL, will present a one-hour workshop, “The Ordinary Secret to Extraordinary Living,” to raise awareness for Big Dog Ranch Rescue, a no-kill shelter in Wellington, Fl. The event will be held Tuesday, September 17 at 7 p.m. at The Community Center, located on 700 South Dixie Hwy. in West Palm Beach.
So what is the ‘secret’? Stephens will reveal ancient examples in mythology and history that reinforce why people are inspired to do well in their own lives. In his presentation, Stephens will also explore “The Hero’s Journey,” a basic pattern found in narratives from around the world, where a person performs noble deeds on behalf of the group.
“These examples are older that the Pyramids or Stonehenge, yet the same methodology about how we can live extraordinary lives applies just as much today as it did then,” Stephens explains. “I’m also hopeful that as guests consider how they can live a more fulfilling life, they are inspired to provide a dog a ‘furever’ home or support Big Dog Ranch Rescue.”
Stephens and his wife have rescued five dogs, including a 70-lb. puppy named Jezebel. They frequently can be found with their adopted pets at Pooch Pines Dog Park inside Okeeheelee Park.
Several adoptable dogs will be available during the event. Guests are recommended to arrive early, as space is limited to 120 people. A suggested donation of $5 is requested to attend. One hundred percent of any donations will be donated to Big Dog Ranch Rescue. Their campus, located on 28 acres, is one of the largest no-kill shelters in the country. Ward, Damon, Posner, Pheterson & Bleau, PL. is proud to co-sponsor this motivational seminar.
