Join the American Lung Association for one of the most unique events in Fort Lauderdale. On January 25, registered participants will take part in this professionally timed and ranked vertical 30 story climb up 110 Tower. After the climb, there will be a post party on the 7th Floor Balcony with food, music, and much more.
This event has experienced tremendous success because of it’s uniqueness and the way it tests physical strength, stamina, and lung power. At the start line, you’ll find marathoners looking for a new way to challenge themselves, corporate executives looking to build camaraderie within their office, and family members tackling the stairs in honor or memory of a loved one affected by lung disease. Local firefighters and police officers will compete in their own competition of climbing in full-gear to hold the title of fastest emergency responders.
Lung disease touches families from all walks of life. Whether it is asthma, emphysema, tobacco addiction or lung cancer, lung disease can be devastating. This fun event is a great way to raise awareness and funds to help save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. All proceeds from the climb go directly to research, education, and advocacy efforts that help to save lives by preventing lung disease and promoting healthy lungs.
