Palm Beach Opera - The Tales of Hoffmann

March 23, 2014  2:00 PM

The Palm Beach Opera presents Jacques Offenbach's The Tales of Hoffmann, March 23 at 2 p.m.

The sensitive poet Hoffmann would do anything to find the perfect woman, but he is so unlucky in love, he just can’t catch a break. Offenbach’s sumptuous music, featuring the famous “Barcarolle”, and fantastical story are sure to make you smile and cry at the same time throughout the evening.

After appearing at the greatest opera houses in the world, tenor Giuseppe Filianoti (“melting, dramatic sound…pouring out anguish”- New York Times) and dramatic baritone Mark Delavan (“incisive vocal power and fierce theatrical acuity”- San Francisco Examiner) make their much anticipated debuts at Palm Beach Opera.
