Nights at the Museum - Pirates Night

January 31, 2014  6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Arrrr… mates, sail on over to the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium for Nights at the Museum – Pirates Night. Pint-sized pirates will have an opportunity to engage in a variety of crafts and activities, including a pirate costume parade (beginning at 7:30 p.m.), a special treasure scavenger hunt, a shark tooth lab and necklace craft, pirate compass demo and much, much more. 

   Children and parents will also have an opportunity to explore one of the most famous ships, Titanic, as Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition is currently on display.

   Additionally, the Astronomical Society of the Palm Beaches will be on-site to assist stargazers with any questions.

  • Pirate Night will run 6-9 p.m. on Friday, January 31, with the observatory remaining open until 10 p.m. (weather permitting). 
  • Admission costs $13.50 for adults, $10 for children (children under 3 are free); $6.50 for members (children free).
