Clinics Can Help (CCH), the only non-profit in Palm Beach County that provides medical equipment on loan to those in need, is holding its inaugural golf tournament on May 16 at the Atlantis Country Club. Funds raised from the event will be used for its main medical outreach Lending Closet program.
Registration for the event begins at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. followed by awards presentation and reception at 5 p.m. Prizes will be given for Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive for both women and men. There is also a special Hole in One Contest prize. Tickets are $150 per player or $500 for a foursome. Entry fee includes golf, range balls, driving range, practice and putting green, green & cart fees, goody bag, lunch, cocktail reception and awards ceremony. Sponsorships and tee sign sponsors are also available.

Clinics Can Help, a grass roots organization founded by local hospice nurse Owen O'Neill, started by donating wheelchairs and hospital beds to needy patients in 2005. Mr. O'Neill, with the help of the entire community, has since assisted over 1,400 clients by donating over $600,000 worth of recycled medical equipment.
