The American Cancer Society is getting ready to celebrate the Hope Gala on Saturday April 26, 2014 at the beautiful Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton. This exquisite event, featuring speaker and Breast Cancer Survivor Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, aims to make a positive impact in the lives of deserving families facing cancer in the community. The Gala enforces the mission that the American Cancer Society has been working for over the past 101 years and for which so much progress has achieved, to eliminate cancer as a major health problem.
“Through this Hope Gala we’ll raise the much needed funds that will allow the American Cancer Society to continue its life saving work. We are finishing the fight against cancer through funding research to find cures, education programs that teach people how to stay well, and a continuum of programs and services that help cancer patients get well. All of the Hope Gala supporters are helping us in this fight.” said Mark Sunshine and Judy Marenus, Co-Chairs of the Hope Gala.
The Woodfield Country Club of Boca Raton will be transformed into an evening of hope. The black tie optional affair will feature an elegant sit down dinner, live and silent auctions, chance drawings, live entertainment and dancing for the enjoyment of all attendees. “We are extremely honored to have the participation and support of Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz as our Featured Speaker. Her commitment to our cause is genuine and her presence will be of so much benefit to our event.” added the Co-Chairs.
