The Norton Museum of Art keeps the doors open late this Thursday for Art After Dark. On May 22, the Norton bids farewell to the exhbiition To Jane, Love Andy, showcases the Rolling Stones' documentary Gimme Shelter, and gives museumgoers a sweet treat with an ice cream tasting. Here's the scoop for Art After Dark on May 22:
For a taste of sub-continental sounds, sitar player Stephen Mikes will perform in the Lobby from 6-8 p.m.
From 7-9 p.m., a screening of Gimme Shelter, (90 min.) will take place in the Theater. A 1970 documentary about the Rolling Stones that Palm Beach resident Jane Holzer was involved in producing, the film will be preceded by an introduction and brief discussion with Andy Preston, Music Director/Assistant Program Director of The Gater 98.7 FM.
There will be a bar in the Atrium serving wine, beer, water and snacks.
