The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is hosting a series of fun runs, meet-ups and informational meetings for their upcoming Team Challenge season. Through Team Challenge, participants can run or walk a half marathon (13.1 miles), or train for a triathlon or cycling event while helping to find a cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, two chronic and often debilitating digestive diseases that impact more than 1.4 million Americans.
Those interested in participating will have the opportunity to compete in either the Clearwater Triathlon on November 9, 2014, the Las Vegas Rock ‘n Roll Half Marathon on November 16, 2014, or the Palm Beaches Half-marathon on December 7, 2014. Participants will join CCFA in their goal to raise more than $160,000 to support research to find a cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
