DCOTA, the Design Center of the Americas, will be hosting International Design @ DCOTA, three full days of design demonstrations and discussions featuring top industry insiders.
Held on sequential Thursdays in July, International Design @ DCOTA is open for both design professions and design enthusiasts and there is no cost to attend:
Thursday, July 31, 12-5 p.m.:
Cooking Up Color in the Kitchen, with live cooking demonstrations:
- FLORENSE will host a VIP presentation and live cooking demonstrations using the newest productions from Sub-Zero and Wolf, followed by refreshments and desserts. Limited seating, so please RSVP at Marketing@DCOTA.com.
- SieMatic Kitchens will host Executive Chef Michael Shikany of SHIKANY’s Restaurant for an experimental culinary experience, held within a fully renovated 4,000-square-foot warehouse. SHIKANNY’s Restaurant is known for its modernist approach, creating whimsical dishes with intricate finishes.
- NEFF of Fort Lauderdale is joining with LUXE Interiors + Design Magazine to introduce its new showroom at DCOTA and will serve cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from Executive Chef Todd Lough of the Pelican Grand Beach Resort.
Special Feature: Open House
Many of DCOTA’s exciting showrooms will host open house events on July 31, including Duralee Fabrics, Eggersmann Kitchens, Judith Norman and Poggenpohl.
