Go out of this world and into outer space with this month’s Nights at the Museum: Alien Invasion! Treating earthlings to a special experience, aliens (Science Center educators) will shed light on the night sky, galaxies and the universe with space-themed activities. Guests are also invited to a special and exclusive screening of the NEW WXEL TV Children’s Program, Space Racers*! The free screening will take place at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.

*Space Racers is a new animated preschool television program that follows young spaceship cadets as they soar through the Solar System, learning about the power of scientific investigation and observation, the wonders of space exploration, and the importance of working together as a team.  Get a behind- the-scenes look from the show’s Creator and Executive Producer Richard Schweiger at how each animated character was brought to life, hear how NASA Scientists and Astronauts assisted in the development of the series, plus enjoy an episode of Space Racers before it airs locally on WXEL.
