On Saturday October 6, 2012 from two to four p.m. the University Galleries in the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters, Florida Atlantic University will present artist talks by two artists, Nicolas Lobo and Tom Scicluna, both exhibiting in the South Florida Cultural Consortium Visual and Media Artists Fellowship Exhibition. Each artist will give a half hour long talk to include examples of their past works and will also discuss, in the gallery, their works in the Consortium exhibition which are installed in two galleries on the FAU campus.
Both artists are sculptors who have created and executed works on site that they have designed in response to the spaces of the Schmidt Center Gallery and its adjoining public space, the Schmidt Center Gallery Public Space, a 200 foot long hallway lobby space.
