Science of Chocolate

South Florida Science Center and Aquarium
Tasting stations will offer guests the opportunity to sample the cocoa creations, and learn the history, science and health benefits of one of the world’s oldest and most-loved treats. Activities include Armpit Fudge, Chocolate Playdough, Senses of Chocolate Station, Chocolate Olympic Torches, a liquid nitrogen ice cream demonstration and a never-ending chocolate fountain. Armpit Fudge, a new activity this year, will give guests the opportunity to create their own fudge – using the science of friction – in the armpit region, but don’t worry, plastic baggies will shield the flavorful-fudge.

Also performing will be principal dancer Carlos Miguel Guerra and his wife Jennifer Kronenberg from Miami City Ballet.
