The Morikami Museum will be opening two new exhibits in October that will run until February 23, 2014. Come and see contemporary street fashion and the popular kgei-style works comprising of ceramics, textiles, lacquerware and more.
Deadly Medicine: Creating the Master Race traces this history from the early 20th-century international eugenics movement to the Nazi regime's “science of race.” It also challenges viewers to reflect on the present-day interest in genetic manipulation that promotes the possibility of human perfection.
The Aloha Islanders will present a Tropical Holiday Spectacular at the Palm Beach Post Sunday on the Waterfront free concert series on Sunday, December 15 from 3-6 p.m. on the Palm Stage. This high-energy Polynesian song and dance performance is sure to get you in the holiday spirit, West Palm Beach-style.
The Indian River Pops Orchestra will combine musical forces with the Robert Sharon Chorale, a children’s choir, bell ringers, and more to ring in the holiday season with “Holiday Greetings with the Pops.”
