Family Art Exhibit: Charles N. Mills, Edith Humphreys and Denise Collins

New York-born artists Charles N. Mills, Edith Humphreys and Denise Collins shared more than a love for the arts – they also shared a bloodline and desire to create art that resonates with the soul and the past. The patriarch of the family, painter Charles Mills, who painted the entrance mural at Sistrunk Boulevard in downtown Fort Lauderdale and passed away in October, 2013; his daughter, the sculptor Denise Collins; and his late niece, painter Edith Humphreys, will exhibit a collection of over 50 pieces of original art work inspired by the stories and ancestries of Africa, America and the Caribbean.
