Basics of Sushi

Sushi has entered the American palate as a cultural influence from Japan. But do you know what sushi is? (Hint: it’s not raw fish, but rather rice made with a bit of vinegar and sugar.) Served with a variety of accompaniments, including cooked or raw fish and vegetables, it can take many forms. Take a lesson in a hands-on workshop in the basics of sushi with Sushi Chef Mitsutoshi Sekita. Learn how to make sushi, cultural information about sushi and, of course, enjoy eating it.
