The Gary Wiren Collection is one of the finest and most extensive private collections of golf memorabilia in the world. The exhibit will include clubs, balls, tees, postcards, photos, stamps, trophies, comics, magazines, books games, jewelry and history. The collection has been featured on ESPN sports TV and personally visited by Warren Buffett and Bill Gates.

IMPACT: 50 Years of the CFDA is the first museum exhibition to celebrate the quintessentially American artistry of the leading fashion trade organization in the United States. Spearheaded by Council president, Diane von Furstenberg, the exhibition includes garments and accessories by the most impactful creators of the last fifty years, on view from January 29 through April 21, 2013.

In a resort-style fishing lodge in rural Georgia, this comedy revolves around two of its guests, Englishman Charlie Baker and Staff Sergeant Froggy LeSueur. Charlie is so pathologically shy that he is unable to speak. As way of explanation, Froggy claims that his companion is the native of an exotic country who does not understand a word of English. Before long, Charlie finds himself privy to assorted secrets and scandals freely discussed in front of him by the other visitors.

Relive some of Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly’s greatest dance numbers, enjoy the precision of Irish step and look to the future of tap with street performers. You will definitely tap your feet with this show.

Drop it, Build it, Fly it, Launch it, Thrill it Event

South Florida Science Museum
Elementary, middle and high school students are invited to show off their engineering ingenuity and creative skills through five different design contests in the South Florida Science Musuems 27th annual Drop It, Build It, Fly It, Launch It - Thrill It Engineering Competition Competitors will await the news to hear if they have a golden egg or Humpty Dumpty after their egg takes a 3-story drop in their self-made containers in the Drop It competition; or if their bottle rockets will shoot toward the moon, or fizzle out during the Launch It competition. Bridges will be built, aerodynamic paper airplanes will be flying and roller coasters will be rolling as students compete for nearly $5,000 in prize money to be awarded to the first through fourth place winners in each category. The competition will be judged by the Florida Engineering Society. The public is invited to watch the engineering competition being held at the Museum.
