The Gary Wiren Collection is one of the finest and most extensive private collections of golf memorabilia in the world. The exhibit will include clubs, balls, tees, postcards, photos, stamps, trophies, comics, magazines, books games, jewelry and history. The collection has been featured on ESPN sports TV and personally visited by Warren Buffett and Bill Gates.

IMPACT: 50 Years of the CFDA is the first museum exhibition to celebrate the quintessentially American artistry of the leading fashion trade organization in the United States. Spearheaded by Council president, Diane von Furstenberg, the exhibition includes garments and accessories by the most impactful creators of the last fifty years, on view from January 29 through April 21, 2013.

Before he says “Sayonara,” however, he would like to share some favorite objects from the museum’s treasure vault with the audience that has graciously supported his efforts orover the decades.

2nd Annual Jupiter Seafood Festival

The 2nd Annual Jupiter Seafood Festival will return to Abacoa Town Center on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7 2013. Meet up with your family and friends for two days of fresh seafood, live entertainment, nautical vendors, kids’ rides and more! Come out and taste some of Northern Palm Beach County’s fresh seafood including conch salad, fresh oysters, seafood paella, fish tacos and more! Stroll down Abacoa’s Main Street and check out all the nautical vendors, arts and crafts and apparel that this area has to offer. Don’t forget to bring the kids to enjoy the rides, games, arts and crafts and Blackbeard’s Pirate Ship. The main stage will feature live entertainment including National Recording Act “The Marshall Tucker Band.” Kicking off the festivities on Saturday at 11 a.m. is the local reggae band “Moska Project,” a mix of funk, rock and reggae tunes. Then at 2 p.m. take a trip back in rock and roll history and experience the sounds of “The Bon Jovi Tribute Band."

Digital Media Arts College: Open Houses

Digital Media Arts College, a fully accredited college offering Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Graphic Design, Advertising Design, Web Design, Visual Effects Animation, Computer Animation, and Game Art, will hold an open house for prospective students on the selected Saturdays in 2013. Within a small campus setting, Digital Media Arts College students realize their potential in digital arts and develop the technical skills required for a successful career. All classes are taught in a studio-like atmosphere within its new 33,000-square-foot facility equipped with industry-standard tools for digital graphic design and animation production.
