Creative City Collaborative, the nonprofit that operates Arts Garage, is the most ambitious art concept to come to the area in years, filling a niche by creating a cultural venue for emerging artists to find a platform to display their work and talent. Programs like the Jazz Project and Urban Underground give world-class and undiscovered musicians a stage to perform, not only giving Pineapple Grove a little more soul but also letting the poetry get out. The Arts Garage is a place where creativity and artistry find it’s footing and speaks to the world, an accessible place of healing and beauty. With such a diverse showing of contemporary artists coming through the space, there is sure to be something that moves the spirit in just about every person who walks through the door.
