Executive Women of the Palm Beaches presents the Women in Leadership Awards (WILA) luncheon, which will be held Thursday, May 2 at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Join the Executive Women of the Palm Beaches as it honors three outstanding leaders in the Palm Beach community who have demonstrated extraordinary achievements and leadership in the private, public and volunteer sectors. Each recipient will be presented Free to Be, a statue sculpted by artist and member JB Berkow.
This year's keynote speaker will be equal rights advocate Lilly Ledbetter. She will speak about her courageous leadership and accomplishments, including testimony before the U.S. Congress that resulted in the Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, significantly amending the equal pay laws to further ensure and protect the equality of pay in the workplace.
The WILA luncheon benefits the scholarship and grant programs of Executive Women Outreach, helping young women in the community pursue their dream of a college education. Tickets are $100 for members and $125 for non-members. For tickets and more information about this event, call 561-684-9117, email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit ewpb.org.
