Now that the days have gotten a bit longer and warmer and the allergies are in full swing, there are a few tasty southern favorites poking from the ground and making the table a little more flavorful. Along with tourism and construction, agriculture is one of Palm Beach County’s largest industries. We’re shining a light on a few of the local crops that are making our springtime tables tastier—along with a recipe or two from our favorite go to Fresh From Florida chef, Justin Timinri, from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
