You’ve heard of drive-in movies, but what about boat-in? Downtown West Palm Beach is taking the art of entertaining up a notch with just that. And what better flick to screen then that swashbuckling throw-down, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl?
On Saturday, August 24, the first-ever summer boat-in movie will take place between the north and middle dock along the WPB Waterfront where a massive movie screen will be erected for boaters and landlubbers. The flick starts at 8:15 p.m., so officials are asking folks to arrive by 8 to secure a spot and cut the engines before the opening credits begin to roll. And this should go without saying, but please refrain from acting out your best Johnny Depp/Orlando Bloom/Keira Knightley impression and jump from boat to boat.
- Admission is free.
- Guests are encouraged to arrive early, the film begins at 8:15 p.m.
