Deck 84 | Delray Beach
In the shadow of Delray Beach’s Atlantic Avenue Bridge sits an upscale yet casual boat-up spot with big flavor. Deck 84 dabbles in American cuisine, which encompasses all kinds of dishes. From fresh seafood to southern comfort food, 84 serves fantastic, varied bites. The bacon-wrapped meatloaf ($18) is a great landlubber feast, while the Key lime mahi mahi ($26) is a perennial favorite. For those watching their figure, the Eat Well, Be Well menu is light on the belly, with every item coming in under 600 calories. But just because the calories count is low doesn’t mean the flavor suffers; the herb-roasted chicken chop ($18) comes in at a meager 560 calories and is topped with a savory wild rice-quinoa pilaf and green bean mushroom sauté. Though the menu has plenty to peruse—not to mention a large specials board—there is no better time to head to the Deck than for Sunday brunch.
Eggs benedict, breakfast burritos and quiche are all made with organic eggs. What’s more, the build-your-own Bloody Mary bar has 20 different ingredients.
For those looking to jam out, the sprawling outdoor deck/bar (where Deck 84 gets its name) hosts live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For a rundown of the schedule, click here.
Dock space is limited at only 150 feet, but the Delray Beach public docks are just one block south.
