Best Glam Scene
The Florentine Room’s reincarnation as HMF is what Palm Beach was craving.
Tucked in the north end of The Breakers, underneath the hand-painted Florentine ceiling, is an ongoing party where guests relive the glamour of an earlier era. Sharp-dressed gents and glam ladies lounge in plush furniture, martinis in hand. Frank Sinatra croons in the background as servers in red lipstick and black cocktail dresses bring another round of drinks. You hear it before you see it—the laughter echoes down the hallway when the party’s in full swing.
Welcome to HMF, the classy and cool cocktail and bite lounge that is the newest incarnation of the Florentine Room. Designed by Adam Tihany and named after The Breakers’ founder, Henry Morrison Flagler, HMF is a never-ending party straight out of Mad Men, the of-the-moment place to see and be seen. If the scene is great, the food and drinks are even better. We dream of the SoCal fish tacos: small plates at their most intense.
