Jupiter Green & Artisan Market
Generally speaking, when invited to hangout under a bridge, it’s probably best not to be hasty with the RSVP. That said, I implore you to check out the Jupiter Green & Artisan Market under the Indiantown Bridge, every Friday from 5 to 9 p.m.
As far as bridge bowels go, the Indiantown Bridge is pretty nice: part of Jupiter’s Riverwalk Plaza redevelopment plan, it’s a paved expanse with parking spots, fishing docks and benches to watch the sunset. And when it comes to green market vendors, these are no mere trolls. Just about everything shoppers could want, from freshly harvested produce and prepared foods to art and even jewelry, is available for purchase. And while other markets open early, like 8 a.m. on a weekend, with most of the best produce selections thoroughly picked over within an hour, the Jupiter Green and Artisan Market is an afterhours type of a place, allowing shoppers to grab some goods on their way home from work, making it a good jumping-off point for the weekend. What's more, this is a rain or shine type outfit, with the bridge offering plenty of protection against the elements.

Offerings: Fresh, locally frown fruits, vegetables and herbs (Kai Kai Farms is a winner in our book!); prepared foods from pesto and sauces to breads; artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, fresh made pasta and antipasto from personal favorite Fratello Sole; jewelry; crafts; clothing and accessories; fresh flowers and plants; live entertainment.
Extras: It’s all about location. A mere stones throw from the Jupiter Inlet bar scene and just across the street from the Little Moir’s Food Shack and Maxi’s Lineup, a stop at the market is a great way to start the evening. That, and when you’re buying some greens under a bridge in cash, it just feels like you’re getting away with something.
- Every Friday from 5-9 p.m.
- Location: Eastern intersection of Indiantown Road and US 1, underneath the bridge. Parking under the bridge and at the nearby parking garage.
