Produce: No vendor travels more than 20 miles to the market, so you’re truly shopping local.

Regular performers include virtuoso jazz saxophonists and a Latin/Caribbean entertainer.

SIGNATURE EVENT

The market co-promotes the Rock’n Riverwalk concert series from November through May, located at the adjacent waterfront stage.

Take a stroll on the Riverwalk boardwalk that winds along the St. Lucie River to take in the breeze and beautiful waterway.

The market prides itself on securing the best of whatever is in season, so anticipate the freshest tomatoes, cucumbers and corn—just to name a few.

Fresh herbs from Wilkos Farms, smoothies from Seaside Smoothies, breads from Importico’s Bakery Cafe and honey from Blue Bee Apiaries 

WHAT’S NEW

Fresh vegetables from QV Farms, citrus from Hornbuckle Family Farms and The Purple Shrimp (try the shrimp and grits or brown-butter Bourbon bread pudding)

ENTERTAINMENT

Expect a variety of live bands, from jazz to soul to country.

SIGNATURE EVENT

Now in its twelfth season, the market hosts an anniversary celebration each January. Vendors contribute individual cakes to make a cake “quilt,” and the mayor and city council come out to cut the cakes for everyone to enjoy.

TIP

You can still shop the market during summer. In May, everything moves indoors to STORE Self Storage at 11010 N. Military Trail to protect shoppers, products and vendors from the heat.

Each February, the market hosts a strawberry festival featuring fresh local strawberries, homemade strawberry shortcake and special strawberry offerings from vendors. 

HISTORY

Now in its nineteenth season, the West Palm Beach GreenMarket is a staple in the community, supporting many local nonprofit organizations.

TIP

The Banyan and Evernia Street parking garages offer free parking during market hours.

Fresh seafood such as Florida lobster tails and jams such as pineapple vanilla rum reserve or kiwi lemon jam from Pascale’s: The Delray Beach Jam Company

SIGNATURE EVENT

Known for being pet-friendly, the market holds the annual Easter Bonnet Pet Parade. This year, on April 19, participants can walk the parade with their pets down Atlantic Avenue to Old School Square for judging and prizes.

CONVENIENCE

Located just steps away from charming restaurants and shops, it’s the only market in the county where you can valet park.

TIP

“Dress according to the weather: sneakers, sandals or your wellies if it’s raining,” says Lori Nolan, market manager. “And shop early for the best selection.”


Boca Raton GreenMarket

Discover produce from local farmers, potted and fresh herbs, pet treats and supplies, orchids, pasta and organic cleaning products as well as handmade crafts and artwork.

Floral arrangements and orchids, fresh stone crabs and artisan breads

ATMOSPHERE

The market offers a variety of music bands and genres, from local school jazz bands to seasoned artists such as Zella Lehr and Phil Christian.

SIGNATURE EVENT

The Saturday before Mother’s Day, the market treats all moms to a gift, and vendors create specialty items such as themed soaps for the occasion.

GIVING BACK

Proceeds as well as products from the market are donated to several organizations each year.
