Palm Beach's Summer Prix Fixe Menus

Lauren Adhav

Believe it or not, summer is one of the best times to dine out in South Florida. With many Floridians vacationing escaping the Sunshine State’s overbearing heat, local restaurants throughout Palm Beach have introduced special prix fixe menus to entice customers, allowing diners to enjoy decadent three-course meals at great prices. We’ve put together a list of some of Palm Beach’s best prix fixe menus that cover breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between.

Café Boulud | $25 Weekend Brunch Le Prix Fixe Menu

Cafe Boulud - Weekend Brinch Le Prix Fixe Menu - Summer prix fixe menus on Palm BeachWith its lounge, terrace and private dining rooms, Café Boulud is a culinary retreat just a stone’s throw away from the excitement of Worth Avenue. The French-American menu offers a taste of Parisian flavors with South Florida zest; each plate is a canvas artfully presented. If you aren’t following them on Instagram, you’re missing out on photos of impeccably crafted meals that would make anyone’s mouth water.

Their Weekend Le Prix Fixe Menu offers a blend of delectable savory and sweet brunch items. What stands out to me is the mixed berry parfait, with vanilla-honey yogurt and pecan granola, the mini-Belgian waffles, with strawberry-rhubarb jam and whipped crème fraiche, and the chocolate bread pudding.

For those of you who don’t want to consume their daily sugar serving in one meal, other items include the jumbo lump crab cakes, French rolled omelette, and housemade tagliatelle with braised lamb.

  • Café Boulud also offers fixed price lunch and dinner for $20.14 and $35, respectively.

Ta-boo | $20.14 Summer Luncheon Menu

Ta-boo has been a Palm Beach staple for more than seven decades, boasting one of the island’s glitzier guest books, signed by the likes of John F. Kennedy and Kathy Lee, to give a range. The zebra cushions, intricate woodwork and rainforest murals lend the restaurant a tribal feel, although the food reflects that of an American bistro.

Ta-boo Palm Beach - Summer Luncheon Menu - Palm beach Prix Fixe menus

The outdoor patio seating makes Ta-boo a great destination to enjoy the calming sea breeze while dining on mussels meuniere, fried calamari, poached salmon, or grilled marinated herb shrimp. And while the seafood offerings are expansive, the pizzas, salads, sandwiches and more, each have a distinct Ta-boo twist.

Their Summer Luncheon Prix Fixe Menu is no exception. The Portobello “burger” and Portobello pizza would satisfy just about any mushroom hunter’s taste, while the chicken Milanaise with penne pasta and tomato-basil cream paired with the coconut cream-filled Ta-boo Lust for dessert sounds absolutely heavenly. Getting three courses for a little over $20 is certainly a delicious deal.

Del Frisco’s Grille | $35 Prix Fixe Menu

On the northern end of the island, Del Frisco’s Grille offers classic Americana cuisine that is sure to please this summer. And while the grille prime cheeseburger and assortment of signature steaks may scream all-American, don’t let that fool you; the menu dabbles with plenty of global influences, steeped in the tastes of Italian, Asian and Latin cuisine, while using locally sourced ingredients to create bold flavors, making dining at Del Frisco’s a must.

Del Frisco's Grille Triple Threat Summer Menu - The grille prime cheeseburger - aduly milkshake - handcut fries - summer prix fixe menus on Palm Beach island

Along with their fixed price menu (more on that later), Del Frisco’s is also offering a Triple Treat Summer menu, complete with the grille prime cheeseburger, a choice of fries (original, sea salt Parmesan, sweet potato), and an adult milkshake made with Nocello Walnut Liqueur and Crème de Cacao Chocolate Liqueur for just $20. It really doesn’t get more American than that.

If a classic burger with fries doesn’t whet your appetite, take advantage of Del Frisco’s $35 Summer Prix Fixe Menu. Entrees include filet mignon, chicken scallopini piccata or grilled mahi, with a roundup of starters that includes gazpacho, a mixed greens salad or deviled eggs. If I had to pick, I would go with the piccata and top it off with the chocolate espresso tart.
