Palm Beach Illustrated

For the 2012 high-goal season in Palm Beach, veteran players Miguel Novillo-Astrada and Juan Bollini were joined by rising 6-goaler, Jason Crowder with team captain Melissa Ganzi completing the match-tested foursome.

Piaget also competed in the 2012 Royal Salute CV Whitney Cup and the USPA Piaget Gold Cup 26-goal tournaments. For these games, Piaget fielded a new line-up of players from the Grand Champions Polo Club. For the CV Whitney Cup the roster included American polo star Nic Roldan, Brazil's Rodrigo Andrade and Argentina's Alejandro Novillo-Astrada. Team captain Melissa Ganzi completed the foursome. This Piaget line-up, known as Piaget Black won the Butler Handicap subsidiary of the USPA Piaget Gold Cup.

The Piaget Polo Team entered a reconfigured 26-goal line-up for the USPA Piaget Gold Cup. For this tournament Marc Ganzi played the #1 position with brothers Nico and Gonzalito Pieres playing #2 and #3 respectively. American polo's Jeff Hall played the back position at #4 for Piaget in this tournament.

And if that was not enough polo action...Piaget also fielded a team for the 12-goal Bronze Trophy tournament. This tournament was played at the historic Gulfstream Polo Club in Lake Worth. Melissa Ganzi lead this team with her 20-goal teammates Juan Bollini and Jason Crowder. Bollini's son Juancito Bollini rounded out the foursome.

To cap their winning season, Piaget won the USPA President's Cup 8-goal tournament in late April at the International Polo Club Palm Beach. Melissa Ganzi, Juan Bollini, Juan Bollini, Jr. and Leo Mandelbaum defeated Chuck Pugley's Lazy-P Polo team to take home the trophy in this season-ending match.
