“Jackie O.” had such an innate sense of style that everything she wore became an instant trend. Our favorite of those trends: the oversized sunglasses. Nina Ricci has relaunched the original 1978 design, made famous by the former First Lady. The Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis collection is widely elegant, and while you can’t go wrong with any of the color schemes, we adore the orange and brown combo.

VINTAGE CHIC

What happens when two jewelry darlings join forces? The most breathtaking contemporary collaboration we’ve seen and worn in a long time. Known for his use of vintage stones, color combinations and large-scale designs, Canadian jeweler Alan Anderson creates statement pieces for House of Lavande, featuring earrings, bracelets and necklaces. One word to describe them—stunning.

RUNWAY READY

Dolce & Gabbana is bringing its runway chic to the cosmetics counter with the launch of The Make Up. The collection is a colorful embodiment of the designers’ vision, with bold, beautiful shades and luxurious textures, all housed in sleek gold packaging.

Escape to another world without even leaving town when you check into the Eau Spa at The Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach. Your favorite burger joint, Grease Burger Bar in West Palm Beach, accepted the challenge to create the ultimate Palm Beach burger. The PBI A-List Burger is a delectable twist on a Caprese salad (but with 10 ounces of cooked-to-order meat). Café L’Europe Pastry Chef Stephanie Steliga is the queen of confections, and we love everything she creates. Our latest obsession are her custom cupcakes. The only limit to the different flavors and creative designs is your party’s theme and your imagination—from a Sweet 16 party with sugar butterflies and flowers, to a baby shower with sugar rattles and pacifiers. And each cupcake holds an even sweeter surprise inside. We are hooked.

MY LITTLE PONIES

From January to April, the world's best polo players gather at the International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington. The highlight of the 2010 season, without a doubt, will be the fight for the most coveted trophy in United States in the 106th U.S. Open Polo Championship. The goal-high tournament is the oldest and most prestigious polo tournament in the United States. NIGHT MOVES

Some of the area’s most popular residents are also the most elusive, only hitting the beach under cover of darkness. No, they are not worried about sunburn. This time of year is when loggerhead, green and leatherback turtles make their way up the beaches to lay their eggs. Each year, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center of Juno Beach offers opportunities to see this amazing nesting process. The perfect activity for families.

IN THE MOMENT

Tea ceremonies bring us back “om.” The serene practice at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach teaches guests to reflect on harmony and respect. For each sado (the way of tea), the Seishin-an tea house is decorated with seasonal ink brush paintings, flower arrangements and ceramics. Prepared in front of guests, the tea is made from powdered tea leaves using traditional utensils and movements.
