That moment came in 1997 for the financial advisor, who now marries his lifelong obsession with the markets to his passion for helping others as managing director of wealth management with Merrill Lynch at Glasband Stempel & Associates in Boca Raton. This year, Forbes included him on the Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list for the first time. A Palm Beach Gardens resident, Glasband also serves on the advisory board at the Florida Atlantic University School of Medicine, and he finds it rewarding to watch the students grow. “We have a 100-percent match,” he says. “Having a medical school here brings doctors back to this area, so it’s a great thing for this community.
