Achievement Centers Students Receive New Computers

This week, the organization distributed 31 of the 55 donated Chromebooks to students and families to help with distance learning.

With the shift to distance learning in the first few weeks of the COVID-19 shutdown, a longtime Achievement Centers for Children & Families (ACCF) supporter accommodated the necessity for laptops for children to be able to continue their education from home. The anonymous donor partnered with the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County to donate 55 Chromebooks to ACCF.

Siblings Elijah, Asia, and Kiana received Chromebooks to help them learn from home.

This week, the organization distributed 31 of the 55 Chromebooks to students and families in ACCF’s programs to aid in virtual learning through the summer and the upcoming school year.

Each family will also receive training from an ACCF staff member on how to use their new device and receive tips on continuing virtual distance learning during the school year.
