Alton Town Center in Palm Beach Gardens will brighten the holiday season for local families in need with a Drive-Thru Santa & Elves Toy Drive, on December 19, from 9 to 11 a.m. The shopping center (5340 Donald Ross Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418) will accept new, unwrapped toys to benefit Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches. Santa and his elves will be on hand to accept the donations and bring some holiday cheer. Reservations are encouraged.
Guests will meet Santa from the comfort of their own vehicles at the socially distanced event. Each child may tell Santa their wish list and in return, receive a surprise toy and gift bag filled with goodies, including a gluten-free cookie courtesy of Bolay. The event will also feature a “frozen” special guest. Participants will enter at the Alton Town Center northwest parking lot next to Waxins Restaurant and Bar, Verizon, and Xfinity.
All the toys collected will be donated to Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches, a local nonprofit that serves more than 2,000 homeless families in Palm Beach County. Their mission is “to strengthen families with children in their efforts to achieve stability and self-sufficiency by providing access to all-encompassing services.” For more information about Adopt-A-Family, click here.
