View the work of Florida’s up-and-coming artists in the sixty-third annual “All Florida Juried Competition and Exhibition” at the Boca Museum of Art (561-392-2500) from August 10 to October 25.
I Want My – Geoff Hamel
Following a three-month call to artists, guest juror Trong Gia Nguyen selected around 100 works of art from a pool of roughly 1,600 submissions that included paintings, sculptures, photographs and videos. Last year, Geoff Hamel (shown above and below) was awarded best in show and received $1,500 for his three submissions. This year, $4,000 will be distributed amongst a best-in-show winner and five merit award recipients during the exhibition’s opening night.
