Zero Empty Spaces (ZES) will host an Art Throwdown at its Boynton Beach location on Saturday, July 17,  from 6 to 9 p.m. During the Throwdown, local artists will have two hours to create a masterpiece based on a theme given that evening. The winner of the Throwdown will receive a People’s Choice trophy. All pieces will be sold, with proceeds going to the related artist.

“We hope that by bringing artists together we can showcase much of the talent that can be found here in South Florida,” said Hilary Mangel, Zero Empty Spaces (Boynton Beach) and Art Throwdown co-organizer. “This is a great way to give artists a chance to be challenged and have fun creating with like-minded individuals, while exposing how talented our artist community truly is.”

Artists will have 30 minutes to plan and prepare for their pieces. At 6:30, artists will have two hours to create their artwork based on the selected theme. Prosecco, light bites, a DJ, and MC will fuel the fun.

During the Throwdown, studios will be open for attendees to browse. The other co-organizers of the event are Zero Empty Spaces Boynton Beach artists Nicole Galluccio and Melissa Mastrangelo.
