Something special is brewing in Tequesta.
Founded in 2009 by Scott and Amy Angelo, Oceana Coffee has become a mainstay of the Palm Beach County food scene with such acclaimed eateries as Coolinary Café, Little Moir’s, and The Cooper serving up its flavorful java on a daily basis. Local breweries like Twisted Trunk and Civil Society even transform Oceana Coffee into delectable craft beers.
Regardless of where the joe ends up, each cup begins at Oceana’s roasting house and café in Tequesta. But before they even start roasting, the Angelos take pains to research their beans, looking at such factors as the altitude, weather, and soil conditions in which they’re grown.
Thankfully, locals get to enjoy the results at the aforementioned outposts and at Oceana’s coffee lounge and wine bar, also located in Tequesta. Here, visitors can sip cold-brewed coffee on tap, purchase beans to go, or enjoy wine and light bites every Friday and Saturday evening.
