Family Promise North Central Palm Beach County will host ¡Salud!, a kickoff celebration for its signature fundraising event, Fiesta on the Ave., at Steel Tie Spirits Co. in West Palm Beach on Thursday, February 10, from 7-9 p.m.

Guests will enjoy a Latin-inspired evening of festive food by Munchies, cocktails, and entertainment, as well as the organization’s silent auction. The first 100 guests will receive a complimentary cocktail created by Steel Tie Spirits Co.

“As a small business in Palm Beach County, we are proud to support an organization focused on serving the children and families experiencing homelessness here at home,” said Ben Etheridge, Steel Tie’s co-founder and head distiller. “Being a seventh generation Floridian, we are passionate about serving the local community and bringing awareness to homelessness. We are happy to partner with Family Promise for their kickoff event, as well as showcase our beautiful new space, create the craft cocktail experience, and share a little bit of the history of Palm Beach County within these walls.”

At ¡Salud!, guests will have the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets for Fiesta on the Ave. Individual tickets are $70 and “Bring a Friend” tickets are $135. These ticket prices will be available through February 10, but will increase to $80 and $155, respectively, after the event. Proceeds will support Family Promise North Central Palm Beach County’s services, meals, and shelter for the children served.

“I am so excited to kick off ¡Salud! at Steel Tie Spirits Co., as well as being able to share what we do at Family Promise North Central Palm Beach County with the community. As an organization that advocates for children and families, I want to ensure that our guests enjoy the festivities while learning about our advocacy and raising awareness for children and families experiencing homelessness,” said Dr. Tomara Graham Mays, executive director of Family Promise North Central Palm Beach County. “This partnership with Steel Tie Spirits Co. is the type of collaboration that allows us to be better at addressing and tackling homelessness in our community.”
