The City of West Palm Beach‘s Community Events Division will usher in the new year with Revamp Fun in ’21, a campaign to reintroduce signature programming like Clematis by Night, Screen on the Green, and Sunday on the Waterfront beginning in January. The events will be held at the Meyer Amphitheatre in downtown West Palm Beach with CDC-recommended precautions in place. The site will be fenced for 10 weeks for Revamp Fun in ’21, which will run through early March.

While Clematis by Night and Screen on the Green typically take place on the Great Lawn, the Meyer Amphitheatre will allow for more efficient adherence to COVID-19 precautions, including designated pods to socially distance guests, maximum 50 percent capacity, hand sanitizing stations throughout the venue, and frequent cleaning of high-touch surfaces. Guests must wear face masks when they are not in their designated pod. Meyer Amphitheatre will be accessible to the public on non-event dates.

The city will present live entertainment and movies once a week for Clematis by Night and once a month for both Screen on the Green and Sunday on the Waterfront. The first event, Screen on the Green, will be held on Friday, January 8, from 7 to 10 p.m. and will feature Disney’s Onward. Clematis by Night will kick off on Thursday, January 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. with a performance by Wonderama. Sunday on the Waterfront will return on January 24, from 7 to 10 p.m., and will feature The Caribbean Chillers. For the full schedule of dates, times, bands, and movies, visit www.wpb.org/events.

“Our innovative Community Events Division has done an incredible job of bringing back our beloved, and highly anticipated, traditional events schedule while still adhering to the most current COVID-19 safety guidelines,” said West Palm Beach mayor Keith A. James. “As we turn our gaze towards a promising 2021, we look forward to ‘revamping fun’ with our residents, businesses and visitors. We hope to see you all at these award-winning events!”
