Since COYO Taco‘s awaited reopening to dine-in patrons on Tuesday, May 19, the team at Palm Beach’s sole taqueria has been hard at work planning how to deliver its coveted Mexican-inspired fare while keeping diners safe. While on a COVID-induced hiatus, the team brainstormed a limited menu with new specials, and built on existing sanitation procedures to further ensure peace of mind.
General Manager Ryan Dabold said, “We are thrilled to re-open COYO Taco in Palm Beach this week. Our top priority right now is our staff and guests. We will be taking all necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of our community.” Some of the precautions include upgrading HVAC filters, installing plexiglass barriers at our counters, and providing a self-dispensing hand sanitizer.
To help welcome back patrons and feed local families, COYO Taco launched family-style meals to-go so that families can BTOT (that’s Build Their Own Tacos, of course) at home. The meals comfortably feed up to six people and include a choice of protein, 12 tortillas, two sauces, and two sides. Guests can select delicious proteins like carne asada and seared Gulf shrimp, or vegetarian-friendly options like cauliflower and mushrooms. Top taco creations with the chipotle aioli, pico de gallo, pickled onions, cotija cheese, and cabbage citrus slaw.
The eatery’s signature margaritas will be available a la carte or by the gallon. Guests can purchase bottles of tequila and wine, single beers, and a Michelada Kit which includes the taqueria’s signature margarita mix and a six-pack of beer.
Contactless takeout will be encouraged in addition to delivery through Postmates, UberEats, GrubHub, or DoorDash. COYO Taco Palm Beach is located inside the The Royal Poinciana Plaza at 37 Royal Poinciana Way, Palm Beach, FL 33480. Hours of operation will be from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. until further notice.
