The Cultural Council for Palm Beach County is seeking Palm Beach County-based professional artists interested in participating in an Open Studios event this May.

On May 20, from noon to 5 p.m., creative professionals across The Palm Beaches will open their studios to the public for the Cultural Council’s first Open Studios event. This free event will provide an opportunity for artists to showcase their work and process, while visitors observe a wide range of demonstrations in painting, blowing glass, photography, jewelry making, sculpture, printmaking, woodworking, fiber arts, mixed media work, and more.

All Palm Beach County-based artists who have working studios that can be opened to the public on event day are invited to participate. Participation is free, and studios will be included in a map for visitors and advertising efforts to promote this event.

Open Studios is a new component of the Cultural Council’s annual cultural tourism initiative that takes place each May: MOSAIC (Month of Shows, Art, Ideas & Culture), which invites residents and visitors to experience the local arts scene. MOSAIC will feature discounts, deals, and exclusive experiences at arts and cultural organizations throughout the county.

The deadline for artists to apply to participate in the Open Studios is March 1. To learn more and apply, click here.
