Artist and owner of Helander Studio

“I taught my daughters early on to strive to be whoever they wanted to be and to know the difference between right and wrong as they conducted their lives. There were never any set rules from me, including curfews, and among their friends they were often home first because they didn’t have to be.”

Brad McPherson
Associate at Akerman LLP

“Dream big, work hard, laugh a lot and never compromise what is right.”

Jack Nicklaus
Professional golfer

“Listen to your mother.”
