Jonathan Wideroff, MD

With considerable excitement and nostalgia, Dr. Jon Wideroff is announcing his retirement. This follows a highly respected surgical career in Palm Beach County since 1982. He would like to thank the many nurses, physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff that he has had the pleasure of working with. He is honored that thousands of patients sought out his care. He expresses gratitude to his wife, Alexandra Santini Wideroff, MD, who is also retiring from her primary care practice. He is appreciative of the support of his associates, including Dr. Erica Podolsky, with whom he built a premier surgical practice. Dr. Zahra Khan has assumed his endocrine surgery practice.

“This has been an amazingly enjoyable and productive 40-year career, quite difficult to walk away from,” Dr. Wideroff says. “I can’t imagine it having gone any other way.” What makes it easier, he says, is being able to stop at his peak of skill and popularity, with incredibly positive and extensive sentiments expressed by so many of the people whose lives he has touched.
